How To: The Perfect Accessory - Part l

Sporting a new trend won’t hurt unless you know how to play around with it. I love sporting trends, but I also try to take it a step further. This week, I’ll be showing you 2 ways on how to sport the Handkerchief trend. An essential so handy, it can also be worn for something classy. This piece of material shows off a bit of an edge to the whole ensemble. If you like or even don’t like what you see, still please do comment down below. (So that I’ll know what to improve on.) Yea?

Speaking of being edgy, our shoot killed the game. I really make each post as worthy as I can. I am so lucky to have so many talented friends (by talented, I mean low key Pros). @joshoots helped me with this one. Another shoot with him will be posted soon for the second part of this segment. Anyways, I won’t keep this long, enjoy!

What’s on me: shirt (thrifted), pants (Bench/), shoes (World Balance), neckerchief (thrifted)

The Classic Neckerchief – this one is what we always see on Instagram/Facebook. At first, I was a little bit intimidated because I thought it’s only made for people with long necks --- I guess not! I think it really depends on how the whole look will turn out. When wearing it this way, remember what material and color/pattern is your Hanky made out of. Sometimes, it also adds a bit of drama when it’s made out of silk, or it has a certain style or pattern on it; so it really depends.

Color is a really important element too. Matching it with the right tones on your shirt or cover-up will finish it off great. Or else, it will only look too busy and will lessen the attention.

As you can see, I’m only wearing four things: shirt, pants, shoes, and an accessory (of course, underwear!). Picking out the perfect accessory finishes off a look with eye-grabbing attention from others. Making the whole look seemed more prepared for.

So that’s it! Tune in for the second part of this segment. I guess you all know how that turned out right? If you have no clue, check out my take on the #PerfectOOTD My OppoF1s story HERE. I posted a sneakpeak + what I have to say about the Oppo F1s. Thank you so much guys!

Stay Brylliant!
