What's up guys? How do you like the new look of the blog so far? I missed you all so much and I can't wait to tell you what's been happening since I last posted anything here. So many things had already happened for the last two months and it was truly a pain in the ass. 90% school and the rest is for building my portfolio. Yes! I'm finally building my portfolio, I am an art student after all! (Art student na tamad. lol) But like any other art student, it's hard to find something that you're good at, while standing out from the rest. (Ok enough with the drama!) So just last week, my friends and I planned to go to Baguio to treat ourselves for passing. HAHA! Kidding, we already planned this out even before we knew we passed. Anyways, so we went there and just took the time off. We relaxed a bit and of course, toured a couple of places, and of course THRIFT SHOPPING! You guys know how much I love thrift shopping. If you're following me on Instagram @iambryanlaroza, you'll see all my Ukay-Ukay trips through my stories. This week's featured OOTD actually is what I wore when we went to the famous night market along Harrison Rd. Scroll down to see more. Enjoy!
What I'm wearing: shirt(thrifted), denim jacket(SMYTH), printed slacks(thrifted), ear-clip ons set(Forever21), watch(Citizen), shoes(Converse).
Shirt is thrifted and denim jacket is from SMYTH. | Have you seen the new look of SMYTH? They once were collective brands like TeeCulture, Tank, and more. Now, I don't know if they put it all to one big brand and called it SMYTH, but all I can say is that their new line is sick(like W-O-W!) The brand has really evolved from just selling white printed t-shirts back in the old days. You guys can check them out at the boy teens section at any SM Department stores near you. (Hoping that they are already nationwide.)
Clip-on earrings set from Forever 21. | I always wanted to know how it feels like wearing earrings, but I'm too scared and don't really want to pierce my ears just for the sake of curiosity. So, when I found these bad boys, I immediately gave them a try. I love it so much... no surprise there. Although, the only downside to it, is that you have to check every once in a while to see if it is still there. Because you don't really notice unlike regular earrings, you know that it's hooked into your ears. Also, it gets a bit numb after a few hours of wearing. But that's all there is to it.
Printed slacks is thrifted and shoes are from Converse. | If you're like me and you hate wearing jeans as well, then you might like this alternative. I found this piece at a local thrift shop and I just fell in love with the fit. These are not my first pair, but ever since I bought my first pair, I just can't get enough. I don't know if they have these in stores but I do find a lot of these at some of the thrift shops that I usually go to. I also began to love wearing these types of pants because it's so light weight and breathable. Compared to jeans, It feels like it's less tiring to run my errands. That is why I chose to wear these when we went to the night market.
I hope you guys like this post! If you like it, be sure to like this this post, comment if you want and stay tuned to my next post. I'll be sharing my P300 Ukay Challenge with you guys so watch out for that! As always...
Stay Brylliant!
